Excellent hotel in a perfect location for exploring the city of Ghent. Very close to the Korenmarkt area which is effectively the city centre, where there is a big selection of places to eat either for lunch, dinner or just a coffee and cake. Also recomend one of the guided boat trips along the river to take in the architecture and learn some of the history. The hotel is a perfect base and great to come back to after a day out to, first to enjoy a drink in the warm and welcoming bar/foyer area and then the rooms which are very clean, in A1 decoration, with very comfortable matresses. All staff were really friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel.

This really felt like a four-star experience. The staff was friendly, kind and proactive. The bedroom design was smart and comfortable, feels ideal for a longer stay. The bathroom (with bathtub) was spotless, long time since I've seen anything THAT clean. And the breakfast, definitely top 3 hotel breakfasts I've had. Lots of options and great quality.

The hotel was great. The staff was the best anywhere. However, the hotel claim to have air conditioning, but our room never had it. We notified the front desk and they changed our room, but the new room was no better. They admitted that they could not fix the problem. They tried their best and provided fans, but the room still remained warm even with the window open all night and the outside temperature went down to 8 degrees C. The weird thing is the hallways had air conditioning.

A beautiful well presented premium room with a view. It had been renovated 3 weeks before. However no TV. We were offered a change of room but having unpacked, we stuck with the room as was.

This is a large quality hotel located in the very centre of Ghent. We have used other NH Collection hotels and this one is excellent. The staff were welcoming, kind, so friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all preferences, and a limited restaurant menu was offered in the bar in the evenings. The food was first class.

Breakfast was good and room size was large. People were friendly and the location was excellent. Had drinks at the bar and the bar tender was very nice. Parking is located inside the hotel (basement) which made things very convienient.

Great hotel in a great location. Modern but witbout feeling stark the bar plus foyer is a comfortable relaxing place for an evening drink. Staff are all friendly and helpful and hotel is immaculately clean. Easy walk to the main market square and range of restaurants and bars or visit ones that are with a stones throw of the hotel. Underground car park below hotel at reasonable rates. Nespresso machines in every room a big plus. Will definitely be a return customer.

An excellent place to stay - perfect to explore the beautiful city of Gent our room was perfect. Be prepared for the hum of the city - they party long in Gent! And you are in the centre of it al. Service was amazing and breakfast. The one thing that would have been nice is the chance to chill with a coffee or drink in the outdoor terrace through out the day but bar did not open till 5. Would absolutely recommend.
